Upcoming Spring 2024 California Study Abroad Town Hall Meeting

The Spring 2024 California Study Abroad Town Hall Meeting will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. Through support from sponsors, there will be no cost to attend. This is an opportunity to receive updates on study abroad from representatives from the University of California system, the California State University system, the California Community College system, representatives from Private Colleges and Universities in California, Non-University Study Abroad Organizations, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, Diversity Abroad and representatives of other organizations. It is also an important opportunity to discuss critical issues in the field and network with colleagues.

Data On Study Abroad by Students From California

Over the past decade, the number of U.S. students studying abroad has increased by over 140%. In academic year 2016/17,U.S. students studied abroad. More students from California studied abroad in the 2016/17 school year than in any other state according to the IIE Open Doors 2018 Report.
